A car overturned on its side on Sunday afternoon on the Puerto del Carmen road towards Puerto Calero, in the municipality of Tías, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred at around 7:00 p.m., when CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers, firefighters and an ambulance from the SUC went to the scene.
The two occupants got out of the vehicle on their own and were assisted by the SUC health personnel for minor injuries. Later, they were transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Next, the firefighters proceeded to clean the road and the Local Police remained at the scene waiting for the crane to remove the vehicle from the area.
