A video of a motorcycle tour through protected areas of Lanzarote is reported

The Seprona of the Civil Guard has opened an investigation following the events reflected in a video of a motocross route through several roads on the island, to "specify the place and identify the people who appear circulating with those vehicles." Several citizens have reported the events on social networks.

One of them is Alberto Ucero, predoctoral researcher at the CSIC and administrator of the Frente de Lanzarote Page, who has pointed out to La Voz that the video of the company wildandwheels reflects several facts that are not allowed on the island, such as driving off roads or tracks; driving on dirt roads or tracks at more than 40 kilometers per hour, or driving in protected natural spaces.

In addition, Ucero recalls that it is totally forbidden to put the motorcycle on one wheel or the quad on two wheels, that the number of motorized vehicles that can go in a group on a track is limited and that in order to circulate in protected spaces, the corresponding administrative permits are needed.

After having knowledge of this video, the Seprona has already started investigating, to determine possible responsibilities.
