The Sicilian Salvatore Sinagra, the 30-year-old who was assaulted in late January in a Lanzarote bar, has been discharged from the hospital. On January 26, the Italian, who ran a bar on the island, was assaulted in a nightlife establishment in Puerto del Carmen. At that time, he had to be urgently transferred by helicopter to the Doctor Negrín Hospital in Gran Canaria, where he remained hospitalized for two months and a week.
Sinagra was transferred to the Gran Canaria hospital in induced coma due to a cerebral hematoma after receiving a punch in a shopping center in Matagorda, in Puerto del Carmen. It was not until 16 days later, on February 11, when he woke up.
