An operation led by agents of the National Police from Madrid resulted in the arrest of Jesús Alejandro Ramírez Valencia, one of the most wanted hitmen in Colombia, in the early hours of this Friday. He is accused of up to 13 homicides.
The captured man was taking refuge in a house in the Argana Alta neighborhood, in Arrecife. The capture occurred around four in the morning when more than a dozen agents from the Fugitive Location Group of the General Commissariat of the Judicial Police and the Special Security Operations Group (GOES) entered a terrera house in the populous Lanzarote neighborhood.
Jesús Alejandro Ramírez was hiding inside, who until this Friday was one of the criminals most wanted by the aforementioned South American country for his alleged involvement in the murder of 13 people, including several agents of the Colombian police, according to the sources consulted.
After confirming that it was this person, the National Police proceeded to his arrest and in the next few hours they will proceed to his transfer to Madrid to make him available to the National Court, which will determine if he is extradited to his country.
