A man was injured with first-degree burns on his feet and smoke inhalation in a house fire on Isa Street in the capital of Lanzarote.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:17 p.m. this Wednesday, when a call alerted CECOES to smoke coming from the first floor of a building.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the door of the house was open and that a person was inside trying to extinguish the fire, which was located in one of the rooms. They evacuated the affected person outside the house and then extinguished the fire, which affected a bed and part of the furniture. Finally, using the turbo fan, they ventilated the entire house as it was filled with smoke.
