A woman was injured this Friday night in a traffic accident on the LZ-2 near Indelasa, according to the Emergency Consortium.

According to reports, all occupants of the vehicle managed to get out before the arrival of the emergency teams. However, a woman at the scene had severe pain in her arms and collarbone.

A cervical collar was applied to the woman and a rescue board was used to move her from the vehicle to the ambulance. Subsequently, she was transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital on a vacuum mattress. The other three occupants, who turned out to be the woman's children, did not require further transfer.

The Civil Guard authorized the operation to straighten the crashed vehicle with the help of a winch. The remains of the accident were removed from the road, and traffic was restored.

The Civil Guard, Local Police, the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) and the Civil Protection volunteers of Tías participated in the action.
