A driver was injured after crashing her car into two parked cars and overturning in Puerto del Carmen. The accident occurred at around 2 a.m. on Palangre Street in the tourist town.
Alerted by the CECOES, firefighters arrived at the area to provide service in the overturning of a car and two other cars affected by the impact.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium after the accident, the only occupant of the car was lying on the driver's door with moderate injuries. It was the firefighters who, together with the health services, assessed the injured woman, who was transferred on a spinal board to the ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), to later be taken to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
Immediately afterwards, the emergency teams stabilized the vehicle, placed it on four wheels, disconnected the battery and left the road clear of debris.
In addition, two ambulances, one basic life support and one medicalized, agents of the Local Police and Civil Guard, who carried out the corresponding procedures and collaborated with the rest of the resources, also traveled to the area.
