A hiker had to be rescued after suffering a fall on the road between the mountains of Tinaguache and Tejida in Costa Teguise. The accident took place at approximately 1:00 p.m. this Sunday.
After being alerted by the CECOES, firefighters, Civil Protection and an Emerlan ambulance were dispatched. The firefighters located the woman who was accompanied by a man. The affected woman explained that her left arm hurt, and she also had scratches on her nose. Emergency personnel immobilized her arm with a splint.
Subsequently, the affected woman is attended by Emerlan's medical personnel who transferred her to Molina Orosa.
