This Wednesday, January 7, at approximately 4:10 PM, emergency services received a report from Cecoes, initially via the path and subsequently by telephone, informing them of a vehicle fire on the LZ-20 road, near the Central Park of Arrecife. The incident occurred on one of the city's main arteries, prompting a rapid response.

Once at the scene, firefighters confirmed that the fire had been extinguished by workers from the nearby gas station, who used three powder extinguishers to control the blaze. Meanwhile, the Local Police of Arrecife were in the area, temporarily closing the road to ensure the safety of vehicles and pedestrians.

Following the intervention of the firefighters and the Local Police, the affected area was cordoned off and assistance was provided to the tow truck in removing the damaged vehicle. To prevent risks of possible slips or damage to the road surface, the street was cleaned with water, removing the residue from the extinguisher powder.

Once the safety work was completed, both the Local Police and emergency services reported the end of the service. Traffic was restored to normal with no injuries or personal damage recorded
