Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium have extinguished a fire at the Arrecife treatment plant. The incident occurred after 4:30 AM on the LZ-20.
Firefighters rushed to the scene after being alerted by the Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (CECOES) about a fire at the treatment plant in Arrecife.
Once at the location and after accessing the premises, they confirmed that it was a fire in a construction bathtub that was full of trash and partially affected the treatment plant's facilities.
Once the fire was extinguished, the service was concluded, informing the fire department dispatch and the CECOES.
