The firefighters have had to extinguish several fires that have occurred in the early hours of this Monday in several parts of the island. One of them took place in a plot in Argana next to the company Hormiconsa. As explained by the Consortium, once alerted from the Cecoes, "we went to the service that is a fire in a plot of land of remains of construction materials." The firefighters had to break the padlock at the entrance of the site to access the fire. Once inside, they proceeded to extinguish it with sprayed water and a jet.
Abandoned car burns
The firefighters have also had to put out the fire of an abandoned car in the municipality of San Bartolomé. According to the Consortium's statement, "alerted by the CECOES we went to the service, which is a fire of a vehicle sealed and in an advanced state of abandonment." The firefighters have extinguished the flames with sprayed water, have opened the rear compartment to inspect, and once extinguished it is considered finished.
