The National Police arrested a 31-year-old man last Saturday for entering a home and assaulting its owner in Arrecife. The events took place at night on Benito Pérez Street at around twelve midnight, when agents were alerted by neighbors.
According to the police force, the man arrived in his car to the area and climbed up the balcony, finally managing to access the house. Once inside, he caused different damages to the furniture, breaking a television, a video game console, furniture, etc. In addition, he threw some of the belongings from the balcony towards the street. Immediately afterwards, he assaulted the owner of the house who ended up with scratches on his face and neck, a wound on his ear and bruises, the agents point out.
In addition, inside the car that the aggressor got out of, there were also two other subjects carrying sticks and blunt objects. Apparently, the trigger for the aggression was the copy of some keys to the home that the victim was claiming from his ex-partner and that she refused to return.
Finally, the aggressor was arrested for a crime of trespassing and for injuries.
