In the Los Mojones neighborhood, in the tourist town of Puerto del Carmen (Tías), three significant robberies occurred inside chalets on the same day. The gang of criminals seized three safes containing a large amount of jewelry, image and sound equipment, as well as cash, all worth 13,500 euros.

The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Tías, through its Investigation Group, initiated rapid investigations to clarify these serious criminal acts. The intense investigations carried out this week led to the arrest of all the perpetrators, identified as males A.E.G., 20 years old and of Argentinian nationality, M.R.R., 22 years old and from Seville, along with S.D., 22 years old and from Morocco. In addition, the three stolen safes and several personal effects were recovered.

In another operation, the same Civil Guard agents from Tías arrested the woman M.F.D., 30 years old and from the Dominican Republic, along with the man L.M.R.E., 35 years old and from Gran Canaria, after solving a robbery in a home where they stole various jewelry and money, all worth 5,870 euros.

This couple, after obtaining the keys to the home of a co-worker of the detainee (they made a copy of the keys without the owner noticing), carried out the robbery while the victim was at work.

On the other hand, in the early hours of the morning, a patrol of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise surprised a thief "in fraganti" while he was robbing the interior of a restaurant located in Arrieta (municipality of Haría). The criminal A..P.R., 40 years old and from Pontevedra, was arrested just as he was putting boxes of alcoholic beverages in the trunk of a vehicle (a car that had been stolen in Arrecife).

Finally, the woman G.M.F., 18 years old, and the man A.R.R., 20 years old (both natives and residents of Arrecife), were arrested by the Civil Guard of the Post of San Bartolomé de Lanzarote, after having committed two robberies in two commercial premises in the town of Tinajo, where they stole various items valued at 710 euros.
