Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire in Playa Blanca early this Thursday morning, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The fire took place around midnight on Calle Japón in the southern town. After being alerted by CECOES, local police officers and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
When the emergency teams arrived, they found that the vehicle was completely on fire except for the engine part, which, however, was also affected by the heat. Firefighters had to use about 1,500 liters of water to extinguish it.
