Agents of the Local Police of Arrecife arrested this past Tuesday, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery inside a house, D.A.C.V., 38 years old and a native of Portugal.
According to a police statement, around 4:15 p.m. on February 14, a neighbor alerted the Local Police that someone was committing a robbery in his house, located on Fernando El Católico street, in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood.
The owner had surprised the thief when he was inside the house in the company of a young woman. Apparently, both had entered the complainant's home jumping through an outside window.
Upon realizing that they had been surprised, the two defendants began to flee, but the individual was intercepted in the vicinity by a police patrol, while the girl managed to escape.
The only detainee was placed at the disposal of the court after the instruction of the appropriate police proceedings.
