A 44-year-old man identified as M.A.L. has been arrested in Tenerife after assaulting his former boss and stealing 900 euros for disagreeing with the severance pay he received after carrying out some work.

The complaint was filed by the affected party last Friday the 11th at the Security Unit of the Civil Guard of the Tenerife-South Airport, who reported that he had been the victim of a robbery carried out by a former employee of his.

Officers from said Unit initiated the appropriate investigations to clarify the matter, resulting in a positive outcome that same day with the arrest of the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation.

According to the investigation, upon receiving the severance pay after finishing some work, he returned to see the businessman who had hired him, to show his disagreement with the settlement received and, with a violent attitude, he snatched the folder he was carrying, tearing the documents inside and seizing an envelope containing the money.
