The National Police have arrested a 46-year-old woman in Arrecife as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of domestic violence, trespassing and attempted homicide.
The agents were alerted on the morning of August 31 by neighbors who reported a possible fight between a couple and that after hearing loud blows on the roof of the building, they were able to observe a woman with a knife in the area. When the National Police arrived at the scene, they found a woman in the street, who was with her clothes bloodstained and very agitated.
Later, the agents interviewed the alleged victim, the woman's ex-partner, who reported that she had forcibly entered his home, threatening to kill both him and his mother with whom he lives and had attacked him, presenting him with serious injuries.
After verifying the events, the agents proceeded to arrest the woman as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of domestic violence, trespassing and attempted homicide and she was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority. At that moment they decreed the precautionary measure of prohibition of communicating and approaching both the victim and his mother.
