Officials from the Local Citizen Security Brigade, attached to the Arrecife National Police Corps Station, have arrested two individuals, one accused of a crime against public health and another for resistance and disobedience to Authority Agents.

The police were patrolling in plain clothes in the area of ​​Los Pinos Park, in the capital of Lanzarote, when Cipriano Manuel P.T., a native of Arreife, 39 years old, who already had a previous arrest for judicial claim, approached them in a vehicle and, getting out of it, offered them for sale a piece of hashish that he was showing in the palm of his hand.

Immediately, the agents identified themselves and arrested him, also proceeding to search the vehicle. Inside was Pauline Martine Marie C., a native of Magherafelt (United Kingdom), 31 years old and a resident of San Bartolomé.

When the agents asked him to identify himself, he not only refused, but also attacked the officers.

Once both detainees were transferred to the Police Station and after the pertinent police procedures were completed, they were placed at judicial disposal.
