A new boat, the fourth to arrive on the island in less than 72 hours, was rescued early this Friday near Lanzarote.
In the boat, which was transferred to the Arrecife Commercial Dock at around 04:00 hours, 38 immigrants were traveling, two of them women.
The Red Cross has assisted the occupants of the boat at the dock and have transferred one of the people to the Molina Orosa Hospital. According to the testimony of the immigrants, they had been on board for four days and had departed from Safi.
