Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire in Arrecife early this Saturday morning. The fire took place at around 1.42 am on Honduras street in the capital of Lanzarote and is believed to have been intentional, according to the Emergency Consortium.
After being alerted by the CECOES, agents from the Local Police, the National Police and the firefighters went to the scene.
Once on the scene, the emergency teams found that the car was engulfed in flames, so they cordoned off the area to guarantee safety and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
The firefighters extinguished the fire with water and foam, leaving the vehicle completely burnt out.
