A man in his 50s was injured after his car overturned on the LZ-402, on the road to Caleta de Famara, on Sunday night.
After being alerted by CECOES at around 11:30 p.m., the Civil Guard, an ambulance from the Canary Islands Health Service and the Emergency Consortium traveled to the scene of the accident.
The vehicle was 40 meters from the road with its sole occupant trapped inside, so the firefighters had to free him. After verifying that he was conscious, but with several injuries, they placed a neck brace on him and proceeded to remove him from the rear by removing the seats.
Finally, the injured man was transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital and Emergencies proceeded to illuminate the area so that the Civil Guard and the crane could remove the vehicle from the road.
