A 70-year-old fisherman has been rescued after falling into the sea after being dragged by a wave, Emerlan has reported. The incident took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. this Sunday in the Pechiguera Lighthouse area.
After being alerted by the CECOES, agents from the Local Police, a GES helicopter, an Emerlan boat and Civil Protection have been dispatched.
The helicopter has located the affected person who was suffering from mild hypothermia but it has not been necessary to transfer him to a hospital center.
