A dog dies in the fire at a surf school workshop in Soo

Firefighters needed 1,000 liters to extinguish the fire, in which one person was also injured

A dog died in the fire that broke out on Thursday morning in a workshop of a surf school in Soo. As reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium, the animal was rescued from inside and attempts were made to revive it, but it was not possible.

In addition, as La Voz reported, one person was transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital after suffering minor burns.

In total, firefighters needed 1,000 liters to extinguish the fire, which affected a garage with two rooms in the back, full of surfboards.

The fire started in one of the rooms, but ended up affecting the entire garage. In addition to firefighters and an ambulance from the SUC, Local Police and Civil Guard officers also went to the scene.
