Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium rescued this Tuesday a cat that was in a pipe in Puerto del Carmen and could not get out.
After being alerted by the Local Police at around 11:20 a.m., the firefighters went to Avenida Varadero, where they removed the bars from a drain and, through the end of the pipe, pushed the animal towards it.
The cat was handed over to the animal shelter since, according to the Consortium, it was "in poor condition."
