A vehicle crashed into a traffic light and several containers on the night of Friday, December 31 in Titerroy. The crash took place around 11:00 p.m. on Eugenio Rijo Rocha Street.
Despite the blow, the driver of the vehicle was unharmed in the accident. The strong impact knocked down the traffic light, splitting it in two, and destroyed one of the garbage collection containers. The crane had to come to remove the vehicle since it had been embedded in the glass collection container.
Local Police officers arrived at the scene of the accident and made the corresponding report.
The firefighters removed the nuts from the base of the traffic light to remove it, left the cables inside the pipe on the ground and placed a cone so they would not trip over the screws. In addition, because the alarm was connected to the vehicle, they disconnected the battery.
