A car has caught fire while circulating on the Camino de la Candelaria in Tías. The fire took place at about 16:41 hours this Friday, according to the Emergency Consortium.
Agents of the Local Police, Civil Guard, health services and firefighters have moved to the scene. When the emergency services arrived, the car was burning in its entirety.
The firefighters extinguished the flames with water using 25 hoses and then propack is used. Subsequently, they poured sepiolite to the engine oil of the vehicle that had spilled on the road. Finally, they cleaned the road and removed the charred material in a corner outside the shoulder.
