A car on the road has caught fire on Fisco Street in Yaiza. The incident took place at around 12.30 this Friday. The driver of the vehicle realized that smoke was coming out, so she stopped the car and quickly got out of it.
The firefighters responded alerted by CECOES and once at the scene and in the presence of the Local Police who were marking the area, "we verified that it is a fire of a vehicle in the middle of the road".
We proceed to extinguish with sprayed water while a unit of the Civil Guard arrives to mark the other access to the burning vehicle. After extinguishing the fire, "we stayed waiting for the crane to collaborate in its removal and the road is cleaned with sepiolite".
