A man in his 60s has suffered a severe head injury after falling from a ladder on Varadero Avenue, in Puerto del Carmen. The events occurred shortly before 10 a.m. this Monday, when the man was working on the public road.
A basic life support ambulance and a medicalized ambulance, both from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), as well as agents of the Local Police, have traveled to the scene.
The sanitary personnel were in charge of assisting and stabilizing the injured, transferring him later to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. For its part, the Local Police regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.
