A 40-year-old man has suffered smoke inhalation in the fire that took place in the kitchen of a single-family home on Carlos V street in Arrecife.

The fire took place around 6:30 p.m. this Friday when a call alerted the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, reporting the fire.

A medicalized ambulance from the SUC, firefighters from the Security Consortium, Civil Protection, National Police and Local Police have traveled to the scene.

The firefighters of the Island Consortium have extinguished the flames and ventilated the building.

For its part, the SUC health personnel carried out the initial assistance to the affected person, as well as their subsequent transfer to Molina Orosa

The police services have instructed the corresponding procedures.
