The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Costa Teguise arrested on August 9 and 22 a 16-year-old minor with numerous police records for similar events, for committing two crimes of robbery with force and one of vehicle theft.
The first of the robberies took place in the early morning of August 9 when the alleged perpetrators of the events accessed the interior of a workshop in the town of Haría by breaking the padlock of the entrance door, stealing batteries from inside it worth 990 euros. Likewise, to carry out said action, apparently the minor, together with two other people, still unidentified, stole a van-type vehicle from a neighborhood of Arrecife using it for the commission of criminal acts.
The rapid police action by the acting agents was decisive to proceed with the arrest of the minor at the scene as the alleged perpetrator, since he was caught in fraganti by the owner of the workshop at the time of committing the criminal act, because he was inside the establishment, the other companions of the author fleeing with the stolen vehicle.
In addition, that same day the author allegedly committed another crime of robbery with force by breaking a container located in the town of Caleta de Famara-San Bartolomé with the same stolen van previously, stealing from inside two motocross circuit motorcycles and two helmets, all valued at 4,160 euros. The Investigation Area of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise carried out the appropriate police investigations and the various steps for the clarification of the events that occurred, carrying out extensive investigation work.

Therefore, on August 22, after collecting several statements from witnesses through photographic recognition, they recognize both the alleged perpetrator of the events and the vehicle used, therefore the investigators proceeded again to the arrest of the minor. Finally, the stolen vehicle is recovered and analyzed, so new arrests are expected based on said analysis, a stolen motorcycle and several objects belonging to the owner of the stolen vehicle were also recovered.
Therefore, the proceedings instructed for this purpose were made available to the Prosecutor's Office for Minors of Las Palmas.
