The Local Police of Arrecife arrested this Tuesday a 19-year-old young man on whom a search, arrest and appearance order before the Court had been issued for the commission of criminal acts.
One of the constant deployments carried out by the Arrecife Police to combat the sale and consumption of drugs in the parks and public spaces of Arrecife has managed to identify this man who had an order from the Investigating Court Number 3 of Arrecife.
The arrest took place in broad daylight, in the area known as Parque de Los Pinos, in the Titerroy neighborhood, where local agents were carrying out a preventive control of sensitive areas of the capital of Lanzarote.
The Arrecife Local Police force has recently premiered new technological equipment, along with the modernization of its vehicles and means, to reinforce citizen security.
During the moment of identification of people and consultation in the police database, the judicial requirement on this man was verified. The action of the agents allowed the arrest to take place as they had the arrest warrant for the "commission of crimes against property and the socio-economic order, in the form of theft".
