IV Centenary of the birth of Molière
In 2022 the IV Centenary of the birth was commemorated and in 2023 the 350 years of the death of Molière, one of the great playwrights of universal literature, which Atalaya is addressing for the first time, about to celebrate 40 years of experience. Molière not only created his own literary style but also significantly influenced the structure of professional European theater companies.
His work reflects a profound criticism against bourgeois hypocrisy and against the worst of high society through comedy and tragicomedy. This would earn him the enmity of the clergy and a good part of the most powerful estates.
With eight actors on stage, this work is part of the great projects of the Atalaya TNT company, and more specifically, among those presented in a musical key.
