The Cabildo of Lanzarote will enable a special bus service for the festivities of Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías, on the upcoming days of August 6, 7, 13 and 14.

Through the services of the company Arrecife Bus S.L., the Cabildo establishes that, due to the festivals of Puerto del Carmen, Lines 3 and 34, which connect the town with several towns on the island, will be reinforced.

In total, four additional services of Line 34 (Interior of Tías) will be enabled, starting at 4:30 a.m., departing from the Las Vistas stop and following the usual route, and as many of Line 3 (Puerto del Carmen-Costa Teguise), from 3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., following the usual route of the service.

The Minister of Transport, Marcos Bergaz, points out that these services "are essential for such popular and massive festivities, facilitating the connection with towns on the Island and increasing the safety of people".

The rate of the service will be the one that corresponds by application of the current traveler-kilometer for that line. The company must provide a high-capacity passenger vehicle, thus guaranteeing safe mobility for attendees, indicating that if necessary another vehicle must be available.

Likewise, due to the characteristics of the service, the City Council must have the presence of the Local Police, in order to establish order in the event of any incident that may occur during the provision of the service.
