Originally from Arrecife and raised in the La Vega area, this Lanzarote group composed of four members Fernando Robayna, Mamé Hernández, José María Pérez and Javier Santiago, present their first work "Latinoamérica".

The Lanzarote band " ̶Y̶a̶ ̶N̶o̶ Te Quiero" will give a concert this Friday, April 28 at La Recova in Arrecife. Before the concert, they were "nervous and happy," confesses their singer and guitarist, Fernando Robayna.

Their first album "Latinoamérica" produced by a record label from Lanzarote called Malpaís Records, something that "is a luxury" for them, and has "given them a plus" to present that EPE physically, so that "they can show it and people can buy it," says the singer.

Published in December of last year, it is based on songs "with pills of light music", as they call it. A pop style "without major complications, catchy, that seeks to investigate in all aspects", clarifies the singer.

With Lanzarote always present. Their video clip "Se viene" is recorded on the island. "It has been on purpose" to use the spaces of Lanzarote, Fernando acknowledges, as a "whim because we wanted to". Filmed in Timanfaya, on the coast of Playa Honda, in La Geria, among others.

The meaning of the name of the group " ̶Y̶a̶ ̶N̶o̶ Te Quiero" crossed out, was decided like this "by pure intuition", and he confesses that "it came out spontaneously". And "it speaks of the ambiguous game of loving each other and no longer loving each other," he says.

"We came from several bands separately", but returning with this new project and especially to Lanzarote we have received "very good response" from the fans, he acknowledges. Also from people from outside the island, "who have congratulated us" and "encouraged" us to "go play in other places".

"People are receiving what we do as something very beautiful"

The essence of the group is "to be ourselves", despite the fears that "we have had to face". But we are "doing what we like" and "it makes us happy" and that is how people are receiving it "as something very beautiful", he emphasizes.
