Lanzarote received last year 3.46 million visitors, more than ever in its history and 1.7% more than the previous year, according to figures from the latest Tourism Movements at Borders Statistics from ISTAC, provided by the Lanzarote Data Center.
In absolute numbers, it represents almost 60,000 more tourists than the previous year, when there were 3.4 million visitors.
The number of travelers during 2025 has increased every month of the year with the exception of September (-0.6%), November (-3.2%) and above all December, when there was a dramatic drop of 13.3% compared to the previous year.
The last month of the year 2025 283,412 tourists were counted on the island compared to 326,827 the previous year.On the other hand, the month that experienced the biggest increase in 2025 was July, when 11.7% more tourists arrived than the previous year. Specifically, there were 307,714 compared to 275,363 in the same month of the previous year.
The month with the fewest arrivals of the year was September, when 252,846 tourists landed on the island, followed by June, with 257,221 travelers.
The month with the highest attendance was February, with 314,382 tourists, followed by October, with 307,964 travelers.
