The neighborhood of Tinasoria will hold this week the festivities in honor of San Genaro, which began last Monday with the proclamation made by Rubén Serrano, Ainhoa Sánchez and Saray de León, three young residents of the neighborhood.

The Councilor for Festivities, Encarna Páez, highlighted that the neighborhood can enjoy its festivities "after two years without them due to the pandemic." She also wanted to wish that these parties were "an example of healthy coexistence and support between each other, where good neighborhood and hospitality are part of our character."

The town criers, surrounded by dozens of residents of the Tinasoria neighborhood, gave their speech and showed the "pride of being residents of this neighborhood."

After a few words from the mayor and the proclamation, the murga "Las Vacilonas" performed, delighting the public with their parade. Immediately afterwards, Tomás, a singer from the capital, performed.

Throughout this week there will be various activities such as children's entertainment, performances by musical groups or playbacks by adults until next Sunday, September 25.
