The Terrero de Lucha de Tías Ulpiano Rodríguez Pérez hosted this Thursday, within the San Antonio festivities, the show 'Antónimos' by Los Morancos. The comic duo, formed by the brothers Jorge and César Cadaval, sparked laughter from the 1,200 people who witnessed the parodies and the different sketches linked to the current affairs of the moment.
Los Morancos filled the Terrero de Lucha de Tías with their show where they alluded to the misadventures of the recently resigned Minister of Culture and Sports, Màxim Huerta, the judicial sentences of Iñaki Urdangarín or the mansion of Pablo Iglesias, among other funny sketches, in which even Donald Trump appeared.
During almost two hours of show, the duo also presented a "hilarious" compilation of the most popular characters such as Antonia and Omaíta and the musical parodies that are currently triumphing on the Internet, with a careful set design with visual effects. In their farewell, before a standing audience, Los Morancos had a praise for the great Canarian humorist, Manolo Vieira.
The Andalusian duo thus began their tour of the Canary Islands, which this weekend will also take them to the island of Gran Canaria. Among those attending the performance of Los Morancos in Tías were the mayor of the municipality, Pancho Hernández, and the Councilor for Festivities, Francisco Javier Aparicio Betancort, as well as several councilors from the government group.
The Tías City Council has valued this performance "satisfactorily", "where the public enjoyed and had a great time with the programming of this show", whose access was through the acquisition of tickets. Los Morancos stressed that "thanks to the purchase of tickets, shows of this nature can be programmed in Spain" and invited the public "to go more to theaters and venues". For next year they have planned to premiere their new show 'A por los 40' in Madrid, in memory of their four decades on stage.
