Eurovision Song Contest, with its almost seventy years of history, is the non-sporting event with the largest audience in the world. In fact, a total of 163 million viewers enjoyed the last edition of 2024, which shows the great following it has. Its foundation dates back to 1956 in Lugano, Switzerland, when the first edition was held with only seven participants with the aim of culturally uniting European countries through music after the destruction and division caused by the Second World War.
