Ángel Ramón Tejera de León from Lanzarote, known as "Mon", founded the company Angrasurcor at the end of 2013, of which he was the sole administrator. However, despite having the obligation, he allegedly did not publish his accounts in the Mercantile Registry.

The businessman is one of the four investigated in the Barracks case, which analyzes the works awarded to Ramón Tejera to rehabilitate different barracks of the Civil Guard.

As reported by the La Provincia newspaper, and La Voz de Lanzarote has been able to confirm, the company Angrasurcor was sanctioned with the closure of its registration sheet in September 2019. This type of sanction prevents the registration of new acts in the Mercantile Registry. The cause would allegedly have been the failure to deposit its annual accounts in said Registry.

Angrasurcor was one of the four companies used by the businessman from Lanzarote to process the awards and invoice the work carried out in the barracks of the Corps.

The closure of the registration sheet is not a permanent sanction, it can be alleviated by resolving the reasons why the company was penalized. However, the registration of Angrasurcor Sociedad Limitada remains closed since September 20, 2019. The non-presentation of the annual accounts can also lead to an economic sanction, but does not entail the dissolution of the company.

During that period of time, the company managed by Ramon Tejera was already receiving contracts paid with the money of all taxpayers through the coffers of the Civil Guard.

Between 2008 and 2019, four companies in his name pocketed the bulk of 3.3 million euros for works in the barracks of the Armed Institute around the country.

In relation to his tax situation, Ramón Tejera has a trial pending in the Criminal Court number one of Arrecife, accused of a crime against the Public Treasury. The hearing will take place on April 12.

According to the Public Sector Contract Law, companies must demonstrate their economic solvency. In some cases, delivering the annual volume of business, in others it is enough with the proof of the existence of civil liability insurance for professional risks or the net worth and the ratio between assets and liabilities at the end of the last financial year.
