The Duty Court of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has ordered this Thursday the provisional and avoidable imprisonment for one of the accused in the death of the young man Isaac Trujillo, the young man from Gran Canaria and resident in Lanzarote who died on Monday morning at the Carnival Tuesday after suffering an aggression in Tenerife.
On Thursday morning, the two accused of Trujillo's death have been brought to judicial disposition and have testified before the judge. After taking their statements, the magistrate has decided to investigate one of the accused, a native of Gran Canaria, for a crime of homicide with eventual intent. Likewise, she has ordered the provisional and avoidable imprisonment with the payment of a bail of 6,000 euros.
If the bail is paid, the judge has estimated as precautionary measures the withdrawal of the passport and the obligation to appear before the court every fifteen days.
Meanwhile, the second person is being investigated for a crime of injury. This accused, also a native of Gran Canaria and resident in Lanzarote, has been released on provisional freedom.
According to the Court's Communication Office, the proceedings will now pass to the Investigating Court number 5 of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
