He was arrested in April 2020 while driving his car along Tanganillo Street in Arrecife with 19 bags of cocaine and heroin, and this Tuesday he will answer for a crime against public health before the Sixth Section of the Provincial Court.
In its provisional qualification brief, the Prosecutor's Office is asking for the accused 4 years and 6 months in prison and a fine of 2,061 euros, with the subsidiary personal responsibility of 1 and a half months of deprivation of liberty in case of non-payment. However, the defendant could have reached a settlement agreement that would reduce that sentence, if he ratifies it before the Court and acknowledges the facts that are imputed to him.
The hearing itself set by the Court confirms the existence of that agreement, since the trial has been set for 12:10 p.m. this Tuesday, and only ten minutes later the same court has another trial. In fact, in total that day the Sixth Section has scheduled six trials, and at least five are expected to have settlement agreements. Another of them also comes from the Courts of Arrecife and corresponds to another crime against public health, of two men who were arrested in 2018 with 22 grams of cocaine.
Regarding this other trial, the accused was caught with 7.52 grams of cocaine and 2.25 grams of heroin, which according to the Prosecutor's Office
