Lanzarote replicates the positioning of last Christmas as the third Spanish destination where travelers plan to spend more money to enjoy their holidays during Easter Week.

This time, only Barcelona, which leads the ranking, and Madrid, are ahead of the Canary Island. The quintet most desired by “premium” tourism is completed by the cities of Valencia and Granada, in fourth and fifth position, respectively.

Specifically, the average daily budget for this period in Lanzarote is 371 euros, 24 euros above the national average of 347 euros and 140 more than A Coruña, which is the destination where tourists will spend the least.

This is reflected in the analysis of interactions made to travel during the Easter season by users of Speakspots.com, the startup that creates personalized trips for free with AI and WhatsApp.

Regarding the breakdown, accommodation is the item in which tourists visiting Lanzarote invest the most at this time (150 euros per day), followed by food (118) and activities (103). The analysis does not include transportation costs.

Andrés Martínez Artal, founder and CEO of Speakspots.com, highlights the great step that it means that tourists visiting Lanzarote and the other 272 destinations in Spain and other countries that are part of the Speakspots.com platform can make the most of their money effortlessly.

“Our smart budgets allow you to compare different travel options in seconds with real-time data on availability and prices, as well as offer options to save. The conclusion is clear: Lanzarote is positioned as the third favorite destination for a “premium” trip next Easter, that is, one of the places where tourists set higher spending limits, among the twenty most popular destinations in that period in Spain,” he says.
