The price of second-hand housing in Arrecife rose by 4.4% in the last quarter to almost reach 2,000 euros per square meter, specifically 1,985 according to the real estate portal Fotocasa.
Compared to last year, it calculates a price increase of 18.9% for Arrecife apartments below 100 square meters and 12% for those that exceed those dimensions.
In the Canary Islands as a whole, second-hand housing closes the third quarter of 2024 with a price increase of 3% and an interannual increase of 12.4%.
These increases detected in September place the price of housing for sale at 2,659 euros per square meter.
The ten Canary cities with the highest to lowest quarterly increase are: Icod de los Vinos (21.5%), La Orotava (12.4%), Candelaria (7.5%), Ingenio (7.1%), Mogán (7.0%), Granadilla de Abona (6.5%), San Cristóbal de la Laguna (4.5%), Arrecife (4.4%), Puerto de la Cruz (4.3%) and Arona (4.0%).
The group of autonomous communities in the country this third quarter of 2024 presents 14 quarterly increases and 17 year-on-year increases. The Community with the highest quarterly increase is Comunitat Valenciana (5.5%), followed by Balearic Islands (4.1%), Galicia (3.8%), Andalusia (3.4%), Region of Murcia (3.1%), Asturias (3.1%), Canary Islands (3.0%), Cantabria (2.7%), Madrid (1.3%), Basque Country (0.8%), Castilla y León (0.8%), Extremadura (0.6%), Aragon (0.6%) and Castilla-La Mancha (0.2%).
On the other hand, the regions where there are decreases in the price of second-hand housing are: Navarra (-1.7%), Catalonia (-0.6%) and La Rioja (-0.5%).
