The Lanzarote gastronomy sector was present at Tast a la Rambla, which brought together some 450,000 people in Barcelona. Thousands of people visited the Lanzarote stand where they tasted Lanzarote wines, jams, sauces, liqueurs, gins and gofio cream.
Great cooks from the island such as Pedro Santana, Joao Faraco, Rubén Dario and Nauzet Santana, together with the oenologist Tomás Mesa, and the pastry chef/chocolatier Enrique Martín were the protagonists so that more than 600 people could enjoy a unique gastronomic experience, consisting of a tasting menu paired with volcanic wines, at the Saborea Lanzarote Gastronomic Bar located in the heart of Plaza de Catalunya.
