The portal Tripadvisor, one of the largest platforms for travel reviews, awards the best restaurants, hotels, beaches, destinations and activities according to the ratings of its users and has recently published its "Best of the Best 2023" awards.
In the case of restaurants, the 10 best haute cuisine restaurants in Spain are already known, among which some of the best restaurants in the world stand out, such as Martín Berasategui, first on the list, or El Celler de Can Roca, located in fourth place.
Lanzarote's gastronomy has received a new recognition from Kamezí Deli & Bistró, a restaurant in Playa Blanca that has emerged as the eighth best restaurant in Spain for Tripadvisor.
The platform points out that the Lanzarote restaurant stands out for its work with "fresh and seasonal products from local farmers, as well as having an "impressive atmosphere and sea views, the perfect place for a special night".
Kamezí Deli & Bistró, which is the only restaurant of all the award winners that has been awarded in two different categories, best and haute cuisine restaurants and best restaurants for a date night.
The Playa Blanca restaurant, located in the Kamezí Boutique Villas tourist complex, also awarded by Tripadvisor as one of the best hotels in Spain, is a space designed by the Eguren Kertudo family, in which architecture and gastronomy pay tribute to the island of Lanzarote, its producers, its landscape and its traditions.
