The Teguise City Council and the Lanzarote Tourism Federation announced this Thursday the opening of an Information and Attention Office for companies in the tourism sector that carry out their activity in La Graciosa.

The office, located in the facilities of the Teguise City Council on the island, will provide services in the areas of "training and professional qualification, sustainability, innovation and digital transformation, business creation and any information and advice that companies need in the tourism sector", according to the president of the Tourism Federation, Susana Pérez.

Pérez explained that "La Graciosa is a leading tourist destination, with a significant number of tourism companies and professionals who require personalized and face-to-face support."

The event was presided over by the mayor of Teguise, Oliva Duque, who said she "hopes that this office will become a reference space for local professionals and companies, so that they can find in it all the information they require to carry out their activity and promote their competitiveness.”

Along the same lines, the Councilor for Tourism, Rita Hernández, pointed out that the office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., every Thursday, and "will prevent the business community of La Graciosa from having to travel to Lanzarote to carry out consultations and ordinary procedures."
