The American publishing house specializing in business and finance, Forbes, will celebrate on February 5th, for the first time in Lanzarote, a new edition of the Forbes Canary Islands Economic Summit.

This is a business and dialogue meeting that will bring together prominent organizations, business leaders, experts, and national and international institutions to reflect on the main challenges and opportunities for the archipelago's economic and social development.

The Summit, which will take place at Jameos del Agua, has the institutional participation of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo of Lanzarote, and is open to the public upon prior registration

Throughout the day, key issues such as innovation, sustainability, attracting investment, talent, and the positioning of the Canary Islands in the national and international economic context will be addressed, in a space designed for analysis, networking, and the exchange of ideas among the main public and private players.

“At Forbes, we want to promote spaces for reflection and dialogue that contribute to the economic and social progress of the territories, connecting the main public and private actors,” states Ignacio Quintana, CEO of SpainMedia. “The Canary Islands Economic Summit is born with that vocation: to highlight the enormous potential of the Canary Islands and generate high-level conversation about its future.”
