Programa Talento +45

The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa reinforces its commitment to the employability of groups with more insertion difficulties with the launch of the Talento 45+ program. This initiative, promoted together with the Chamber of Spain and co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the Cabildo of Lanzarote, is specifically designed for people between 45 and 60 years of age who are unemployed or inactive.

The central objective is to update the participants' skills so that their professional profile matches what companies in the territory currently demand. This is not generic training, but active support that includes everything from improving digital skills and languages to entrepreneurship advice.

A boost to the experience

The vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Carmen Martinón, highlights the value that this age group brings to the labor market: "Talent does not expire at 45. With this program, we want to provide the necessary tools so that this accumulated experience can be combined with the new skills required by the current market. It is about giving security to the professional and solutions to the companies of our islands."

For her part, the Minister of Inclusive Training and Employment of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Ascensión Toledo, points out the importance of institutional collaboration: "From the Cabildo we are committed to policies that generate real opportunities. The Talento 45+ program is a direct way for many people from Lanzarote and La Graciosa to regain their space in the labor market, improving their employability through practical training adapted to the reality of our economy."

Tailored support and training

The program offers a personalized itinerary that begins with a prior diagnosis. From there, participants receive training in key areas such as digitalization, languages, and social skills. In addition, the Chamber's team of professionals will carry out constant monitoring to prepare users for selection processes or facilitate their access to internships in companies.

Upcoming training

The first specific courses to be integrated into this program will be announced soon. All interested persons are recommended to contact the Chamber.
