"Technology is advancing rapidly and although we do not intend to be as fast as trends, in one way or another our lives and the way we relate to our environment have changed." This, according to Informática Lanzarote, is the idea that has driven the launch of a new photographic competition, which aims to "not only encourage the participation of Internet users, but also get the best snapshots related to technological evolution".
Informática Lanzarote is looking for any image that illustrates the concept of the evolution of life and computing towards the future, although the "most original and creative" photographs will be awarded.
The competition is open to all photography enthusiasts or professionals who wish to participate. In addition, they can compete for great prizes such as an Acer A210 10-inch Tablet for the winner, a BQ Cervantes eBook as the second prize, and a Motorola Q9 mobile phone for the third place.
The jury is made up of professionals from the world of photography and multimedia technology. The deadline for submission is December 17 and, after a period of deliberation, the winners will be announced, "just in time to receive a well-deserved Christmas gift", according to Informática Lanzarote.
