Bodega Los Bermejos has once again become a meeting point for the international wine market, hosting this week the visit of its importer in the United States, Bowler Wine, accompanied by a delegation of experts and representatives from the North American wine sector.
This reverse mission, which has been held uninterruptedly since 2015, consolidates trade ties between Lanzarote and the United States, and highlights Bermejo's commitment to sharing its way of understanding wine with those who later represent it outside our borders.
Among the attendees were key figures from the sector such as Vinicius Rodrigues, Evan Spingarn and Laura Muggeo (Bowler); Kara Daving, wine director of the four restaurants that chef José Andrés has in New York; Lindsey Haluska, account specialist in Florida; Matt Crumlea, vice president of Serendipity (Texas); and Megan Nelson, portfolio manager of Material Wine Co. (Arizona).
During the visit, the guests toured the winery, shared moments with the team, tasted recent vintages and rediscovered the uniqueness of volcanic viticulture in the heart of Lanzarote.
